Feeling really stressed. The treatment doesn’t seem to have worked as well this cycle. The side effects have not been anywhere near as bad as they were during the last cycle. I don’t understand why it has been so different this time. The only thing that has changed is that we stopped Avastin in readiness for surgery. I hadn’t been too bothered about dropping Avastin as I didn’t think it was doing anything. It looks as if I might have been wrong.
My UK Oncologist agreed that it doesn’t look like the treatment has worked very well this time so arranged for Avastin to be reinstated. I’ll have to come back into hospital next Friday to have the Avastin. Hopefully, this will put things back on track.
