Pain in Neck and Shoulder 

Valentine's day.  Went to the hospital to have my PICC line cleaned and have my bloods taken in readiness for chemo tomorrow.   Told one of the nurses about the pain I had been getting in my shoulder and neck over the last week.  She got a bit worried and said that I needed to have it X-rayed immediately just to check if my PICC line was in the right place.  They are known to move without reason sometimes.  

Waited around most of the afternoon for the consultant to be available.  Finally got the scan (rather than X-ray) at about 3.45 pm.  All seemed well as far as the PICC line was concerned.  I was pleased to hear that, but it did make me worry a little as to why I was getting the pains.  Anyway, nothing I can do about it at the moment.
