Saw my GP yesterday.  The lymphoedema was still painful, but not as bad as the weekend.  The swelling had gone down a little.  My GP decided not to syringe the seroma as he felt that putting a needle into my body could lead to an infection.  He decided that it would be better for me to see the physiotherapist  at the surgery.

Saw the physiotherapist this morning.  The pain had now travelled all the way down the left hand side to just above my hip.  She immediately saw the areas that needed to be treated.   Even though the massage did hurt a little, it felt relaxing at the same time.  She said that the massage should help move the fluid around my body.
