Chemo Cycle 5 Day 1
Finally, I had cycle 5 day 1 chemo.
Chemo all day today as bloods were really high today, above the normal range for a healthy person. So the Nupogen worked really well. I was so pleased.
Feeling very sore from yesterday’s surgical procedure. The port seemed to work well. All the drugs went through the port without any problems. I felt a bit nauseas while the chemo was being administered. So had to be given extra anti-sickness drugs.
I was very nervous when it came to taking the needle out. The area felt very sore, so the thought of a needle being pulled out was pretty scary. But the nurse was very careful and it didn’t hurt at all.
Mya came with Simon to pick me up from the hospital. She was very impressed with Mummy’s chair. She had fun playing with the controls, moving it in every direction possible.
She has been really good about all the hospital visits that I have had recently. I know she worries about me. I hope she is coping ok with it. She doesn’t really talk about it, so I don’t really know what is going on in her little head. I just know that she is thinking about it because when she is worried about me she keeps telling me that she loves me and kissing me every few minutes.
